The Fling is cancelling the rest of the 2010 dive season as of day. We are still in Pascagoula working with the barge. Right now the oil is moving a little bit to the west and they are predicating it to continue to move to the west for the next couple of days.

We are still in Pascagoula Mississippi working with the barge. It looks like the oil is moving more to MS, AL, and Fl. right now. Lets keep our fingers cross that it stays away from the gardens. They keep telling us we will be here a while.

FYI: The Fling is now in Pascagoula Mississippi working with a barge and crane that will be cleaning any boats that have oil on them before they are allowed to enter the bay. We have now cancelled all trips until August 14th. I do believe that we will be there longer and will keep everyone updated as soon as we get any information. I would like to thank the many dive shops and divers who had support us in our decision to work with the oil spill. I have had a few emails calling us greedy and selfish for doing this work. If we lose any divers because of our decision, that is their choice but we are doing the best that we can right now.

FYI: Just keeping everyone updated the Fling left out Tuesday night around 9:30PM heading for Mobile Alabama to assist with the oil spill in the Gulf. We will be a support vessel housing and feeding the workers. As of right now we have cancel all of the trips until July 10, 2010. There is a big possible that we will be there longer depending on the oil spill and we are sorry are any inconveniences that this may have causes to any of the dive shops and the divers. We will be doing an update every week to everyone inform. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at the office -979-233-4445.
